Jerusalem

From Tel Aviv we drove the 50 minutes to Jerusalem, and I spent the day wandering around, learning and seeing things that I’d only ever heard about at school in religious studies classes or sang about in hymns. Jerusalem is a very special, somewhat eerie place, but one that everyone, if they can, should experience.

There are only 2 things you need to do once you’ve seen the history of the city itself: stroll through the Machne Yuda market, and eat at the Machne Yuda restaurant. It is an institution and the best meal I had in 2018.

EAT

Machne Yuda The only place you need to eat at. Restaurant by one of my favourite chef’s Assaf Granit, of Palmoar in London

I visited Jerusalem in September 2018
